The location is great, just a few blocks from Hollywood Boulevard, making it easy to explore the area. I enjoyed the convenience of having a 7-11 nearby for snacks and drinks. The front desk clerks were helpful when I had issues with the internet, which made a difference. However, check-in took longer than expected. The room itself had some cleanliness issues. I found dust in the corners and stains on the bedding. The shower could have been cleaner, and it felt cramped. The complimentary breakfast didn't impress either. it consisted of donuts that weren't fresh and coffee that barely had flavor. While I felt safe during my stay, the noise from outside was disruptive at times. A little more attention to detail in cleaning and breakfast choices would enhance the experience, but I appreciated the relatively inexpensive rates for this area.

We had an awesome time exploring the nearby Farmers Market, which was a fun place for the family and our three dogs. The convenience of being a short distance from Universal Studios made our trip extra special. The area shuttle was a nice touch, too!
My wife says that the noise from outside was too loud at night.

It was just a balanced option for a weekend breather in Los Angeles with excellent value for money. The staff was really accommodating and helped me find a restaurant with great food nearby. Check the ice machine on every floor since they charge for ice otherwise.
